About Us
Sentosa is a famous island in Singapore, with a beautiful tropical resort.  It has a very clean, relaxing atmosphere with great food.  Thus it's one of the most beloved places for Asians to go on vacation.  Sentosa, the restaurant, was named after this island to bring similar sentiments to American public, sentiments of grand decor, relaxing atmosphere, great service and exceptional authentic Asian food.

Juliana, the manager of Sentosa, has been in the restaurant industry for over 25 years. She's worked for New World International Hotel Management Group in Hong Kong as well as Manager & Chef for the Peninsula Hotel.  With this experience she became an expert not only in most authentic Chinese food preparation, but in very different, highly individualized and customized approach to service, where each client was prepared dishes that would complement the dining experience, whether it was a romantic couple, a business gathering of 10 or a private party for 100.  She couldn't find the same level of care, quality & service in USA... so she decided to open her own place and bring those very attributes from Hong Kong to America.

Sentosa's interior, very spacious and grand, can easily seat 120 with room to spare and resembles the look of 5-star hotels of Hong Kong.  That's one of the reasons people like to have weddings here.  Sentosa is a great place for group gatherings of just about any size.  Birthdays, weddings, business events, or any other gatherings of many people would be hard pressed to find a venue that would match Sentosa.

Asian Food - preparation & service
In Asia, before preparing meals, people go to a market and buy ingredients, so everything is very fresh. Most meals are family-style and everything is shared.  More formal gatherings are different - meals are served one at a time.  Everything is carefully timed, so each dish comes fresh after a prior dish is finished. This approach yields absolute best flavor & maximum enjoyment from each dish.
Fresh & Seasonal
Seasons bring variety of fruits & vegetables and Asian cooking reflects that by preparing dishes made from fresh seasonally available ingredients, as well as fresh meats and seafood.  This results in healthier meals, which aren't oily or fatty. Dishes aren't too spicy, and not everything is deep-fried.  Most dishes in fact are steamed & stir-fried.
